Ms. Stephanie Hilton graduated in May 2010 from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree in Instrumental Music Education.
At Missouri State, Ms. Hilton was active with the PRIDE band, serving as flute section leader one year and drum major for two years. She traveled with the band to London for the New Year’s parade in 2006, and to Pasadena, California, to march in the Rose Parade in 2008. She was also a member of the University Wind Ensemble, in the flute section, and has played saxophone in various other ensembles.
Ms. Hilton’s professional affiliations include: Mu Phi Epsilon professional music fraternity, CMENC (Collegiate Music Educators), Phi Eta Sigma national honor society, and Missouri NEA.
Outside of music and teaching, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her fiancé, Nathan, with whom she is planning a wedding for July of 2011.
